What you’ll be doing

  • Design test plans and strategies for functional and non-functional validation
  • Work with Developers and other Quality Assurance team members for validation of the product’s functionality, via manual or automated execution of test cases
  • Write test automation scripts using automation framework for regression testing
  • Track all discovered issues and defects, and validate fixes provided by developers
  • Document test results
  • Contribute to the product and process improvements and refinement of QA practices
  • Learn the purpose, features and use cases of the product to be tested
  • Interact with a remoted development team and collaborate with other teams in USA and Europe

What you bring

  • Good knowledge of English (spoken/written)
  • 5+ years of experience in testing Enterprise software products and in particular web applications
  • Experience in test strategy, test planning, test cases creation, execution and defect reporting
  • Ability to perform various types of testing – feature, integration, Install-upgrade, regression, database etc.
  • Good knowledge of Relational Databases / SQL
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux OS • Experience with test automation scripting frameworks (Junit, Robot, Selenium, Sikuli or others)
  • Experience in Python and Linux/Unix shell scriptin
  • A fast learner, good team player and excellent communication skill

What is nice to have

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Previous experience of working with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Hightech startup experience
